CatRest Terms of Use

Effective date: July 2, 2026

Welcome to "CatRest" (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

The App is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA), supplemented by these Terms. Where they conflict, these Terms prevail. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App — not ownership of it.

2. Health Notice (Important)

3. In-App Purchases and Virtual Items

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: decompile or reverse-engineer the App (except as permitted by law); exploit bugs to obtain virtual items; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

The artwork, cat characters, texts, sound effects, and interface designs in the App are protected by copyright and other laws. They may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App; total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding twelve months. Screen-time measurement and notification delivery rely on iOS system capabilities and may be affected by system settings, permissions, or low-power mode; no guarantee is made of their availability.

7. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the effective date above; material changes will be noted in the App's update notes. We reserve the right to terminate the license if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of habitual residence, excluding conflict-of-law rules; if the consumer-protection laws of your region grant you more favorable, non-waivable rights, those laws prevail. Disputes should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
